World Children’s Theatre Day: 20th March

Each year ASSITEJ International invites someone special in theatre to write about the value of TYA. In 2012 that person is Quebec playwright Suzanne Lebeau, whose work has influenced TYA artists around the world for over 30 years. Here is the link   Very Funny You Tube link

Editor Bows Out

I have edited a newsletter for TYA and ASSITEJ UK off and on since sometime in the 1980’s —it’s too long ago to be exact! When I started, it was typewritten, roneoed and posted. Then came photocopiers and we could include pictures! Now this comes to you by email and costs almost nothing to produce or deliver—except for time to find material.

Katie Boon is taking over from April and no doubt new publishing techniques will give you a better and better service. But Editors will always rely on readers’ news, opinions, and reports to make TYA News useful to everyone.
