Follow-Up from January Meeting

All,

I have been working on the items we addressed at our meeting in
Huntsville. The page is up on TeachingTexas.org explaining the Texas
Social Studies Network at http://www.teachingtexas.org/tssn. Please
review the page ans submit any feedback you may have regarding its
content, etc.

The minutes from the 2008 and January 2011 meetings have been posted
in a Google Docs where network members can access them. The link to
them is in the first dicussion item posted. You will need a google
acount at this point to access them. Depending on how big of an issue
that is, will determine whether we look at another alternative. Please
comment on this aspect as well.

I suggest our first discussion item be: After reviewing the Google
Groups area and its capabilities, do you think that it will meet our
needs for the time being? If not, what improvements would you
recommend?
