Dear Colleagues

I hope many of you are planning to attend the College Administrator’s Breakfast at TAHPERD. The Convention is December 4-7 at the Dallas Sheraton and the breakfast is Friday morning, December 6. You can register online http://www.tahperd.org/LINKS/SUB_LINKS/MEETINGS_EXHIBITS/annual_convention.html

Typically, the program consists of updates from across the state, along with discussions about current issues. I will appreciate it if you will send me your suggested topics for discussion!

Immediately following the breakfast, we will have a 2-hour AIM session. Please plan to join us for this session as well.

Abstract (150-200 words): This session will follow the model of previous AIM Conferences. In addition to K-12 and College/University administrators, we encourage the attendance of all PETE Directors, Lead Teachers and other interested faculty. Discussions will center around unforeseen issues that may arise as a result of the current legislative session. Other issues will include collaboration to analyze existing student data, mentoring of developing teachers, videos of master teachers (for use by PETE programs and K-12 evaluation teams), and the alignment of assessment with Physical Education Framework.
