I hope your summer is going well. Would you please send this email to the list serve of chairs in TAAHPERD.

Help! We have really been trying to get a wellness course into the new core - College Area Option. I have attached what we have proposed as the wellness course with examples of specific courses at TWU. Also, I have attached Kinesiology Courses that we have proposed to go into the other component areas.

1. Have you had any success in getting Kinesiology or Wellness courses into the new core?
* If yes, would you please share your course along with materials and strategies that you used to get into the new core.
* If no, what were the main reasons for denying your courses?
2. What are the courses that have been proposed for your College Area Option - 6 credits?

Thanks for all your help. I can't believe that we continually have to fight this battle.
