Position: Medical Device Plant Manager Dallas

U.S. company dedicated to the practice of providing of a micro-organism free - sterile - pharmaceutical and medical device production environment requires a plant General Manager. This position reports to the VP Operations, with 20 direct reports.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Re employees - hire/ train/ motivate/ and educate about the company's delicate, critical service mission.
Objectives, strategies, and goal setting re operations - organizational chart, present and future hiring requirements, and succession planning.
General management of key functions - operations, QA, customer service, logistics, product safety, and training.
FDA, OSHA, NRC regulatory compliance.
Smooth working relationships between all departments, sale, customers, and CEO.
Budgets, continuous improvement re operations, technology development as per market changes.
Mindful of competitive strategies and efficient logistics and workflow.
Metrics oriented decision making.
Ensure plant conditions clean and safe.
REQUIREMENTS:
B.Eng. with 5 to 10 years in a production, manufacturing, or operations environment.
Several years management and operations functions, particularly within medical/ medical device plant.
Able to drive a project to completion.
Experience managing 10 to 20 direct reports.
Business and Operations savvy.
Quality, compliance, safety background re regulatory agencies.
Skilled at leadership, teamwork, wearing many hats, being hands-on as required, training, relationship building.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, computer skills.
Integrity, self-starter, customer relationship management expertise.
