JOB TITLE: Clinical Pharmacy Manager
LOCATION: Harlingen, US-TX
JOB TYPE: Direct
SALARY : $95000 - $100000
DESCRIPTION:
South Texas Hospital Clinical Pharmacy Manager position available. This
position is a 60/40 split , i.e., 60% Clinical duties and 40% staff pharmacist
duties. A PharmD and strong clinical skills are required, as well as a minimum
of two years in a hospital pharmacy. Texas license required. Must have
current TX license, or TX license application process completed and license
soon to be awarded.
Responsible for coordinating medication use performance improvment activities
(P&T, utilization managment, drug information), student and staff training and
evaluation, and physician based/pharmacy driven clinical initiatives.
Identifying, resolving,and preventing drug related problems that may affect
optimal patient care outcomes in the adult, pediatric,and neonatal patient
populations and to research and communicate to our medical and nursing staff,
as well as all ancillary services, the most current and up to date information
on drug therapy.
The successful candidate, after having proved him or herself, will also have
the opportunity to transfer within the company's locations throughout the US.
Being available to transfer to other faciliites IS NOT a requirement for this
position. The transfer option is merely an opportunity for employees who
desire to explore openings in other facilities in other locations.

Northeast Texas Hospital Clinical Pharmacy Manager position available. A
PharmD and strong clinical skills are required, as well as a minimum of two
years in a hospital pharmacy and clinical pharmacy management experience.
Excellent communication skills, demonstrable clinical and medication safety
skills required, as well as knowedge of Microsoft Office products. This
position is a full-time, exempt position with a typical schedule of Monday
through Friday with on-call responsibilities. Texas license required. Must
have current TX license, or TX license application process completed and
license soon to be awarded.
