I have recently purchased some "older" reloading equipment. Included
was 2 Texan brand shotshell presses and some assorted Texan brand dies
and shell holders. Does anyone here on the NG know where I could get
some information/manuals on the presses and a list of what each of the
shell holders fit? They are marked with single letters, not numbers
like RCBS, Lee, etc..

any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
regards,
Troy

Might try some of the older shooting organization, such San Antonio,tx, gun
club. Texan has been out of business for many years.

All my Shell holder charts show Texan NUMBERS... NOT letters, which were
identical to C-H shell holders. The Sierra Second edition (Green book
1978) has the Shell Holder Chart. If your holders had numbers I would
have faxed, or scanned the charts, and sent them to you.

For $20.00 you can get the entire Lee set of shell holders for all
rifles and handguns.

The presses are long gone the way of the do-do, and books may show up
at Gunshows.

Regards,

Gary
