Job Description:

Database Administrator
Individual should have strong Linux expertise, as well as Volume Manager, Oracle RAC, ASM, and networking skills.
They should be well versed in SAN topology and have previous experience with all aspects of designing/implementing Oracle DB & Exadata solutions.
Resource Need:
* Write and maintain/extend existing PL/SQL code to convert initial data sets, system enhancements, reports production, and improved transaction editing.
* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
* Develop database packages, procedures, functions, and queries to maintain production data and address RNS production support tickets and provide development support. Emphasis on system interoperability, associating road edge vectors with tables defining route/street paths and intersections, and production-quality periodic load/import and problem diagnosis.
* Generate edit lists where manual route associations are required.
* Archive changes to a historical database.

Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
*8+ years experience required
*Overall database development experience
*Advanced level of understanding and experience with various SQL Server technologies
*Advanced understanding of relational database modeling and the ability to quickly achieve an understanding of complex database systems
*Excellent SQL Server skills, including developing stored procedures, functions, and queries
*Ability to migrate data with complex rules
*Ability to identify and develop solutions for application performance issues related to the database
