Dear all,
Today the Commonwealth Youth Programme officially launches the ''Youth Work Week''. The week is completely up to the youth services, voluntary youth organisations and young people who choose to take part. The week is also a chance to highlight the contribution of
youth work to the development of young people and to turn public attention towards the positive roles played by young people in their communities.
This year it has been given the broad them of ''Connecting Cultures'' and the Commonwealth Secretariat is supporting the work so we will see events held in many of the 54 countries of the Commonwealth. Join the celebration on Facebook and Twitter by using the hashtags #YWW12 and
#Commonwealthuth Learn more at: http://www.thecommonwealth.org/news/248252/yww2012.htm and listen to the message of Katherine Ellis, the Director of the Commonwealth Youth Programme, at https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=LQHdoqThWzw
Thanks for joining and supporting. Please read the attachments as well !
