Tom Malmstrom received the Career Professional Award, Finally!

Good afternoon NETWS members,

I’m happy to announce that Tom Malmstrom has been presented the Career Professional Award (see attached pictures and award nomination). Those that attended the Annual NETWS meeting in Kearney will remember that we announced Tom as the recipient of this award. Tom was not able to attend and remained unaware of the award until this week. Given my dual role as President-Elect and as someone that regularly interacts with Tom professionally, Ted LaGrange (one of the nominating persons) and I decided to surprise him with the award at our quarterly Saline Wetland Conservation Partnership meeting. As you can see from the pictures, Tom was indeed surprised! He also mentioned that the annual NETWS meeting is his favorite to attend.
