Much to talk about since we last communicated. Probably not news to
some, but the track has changed ownership. New owners to make a formal
announcement around the first of the year. Stay tuned.
Porsche Club just completed one of their most successful DE weekends
this past Saturday and Sunday. And Misty and Martin put together one of
our most successful Motorsports Club DE events in several years. That
event was November 17-18. Dan Pastorini even showed-up with his street
Lamborghini to get a little seat time while building his race version.
Pretty car that caught a lot of attention.
Our next MSC event is set for Dec 15-16 and the registrations are rolling
in. Get yours in so as not to be disappointed.
The price for the weekend is $250. Garages are $20. Please fill out a registration form and send it in as soon as possible so I can plan run groups and make sure I have enough instructors. Even if you have paid in advance for multiple events, we need for you to register for each event so we may have a hard copy in our hands. Bring your completed tech form to registration at the track Saturday morning. New policy is that if I am not made aware that you are attending by the Thursday before an event, a $10 late registration fee will be charged. That means I need an email, registration form, or phone call by 11:59pm Thursday night.
We will continue to offer Saturday morning check-in from 7:00 - 7:45 am, but, in order to alleviate some of the morning rush, we have decided to open the track office on Friday nights from 7 - 9 pm, as well, for this purpose. Please take advantage of this opportunity to get checked in and assigned a garage at our next event.
Track gates will be open Friday night from 7:00 - 10:00. $15 at the gate for drop-offs. The gates will re-open Saturday morning at 7:00. Driver's meeting is at 7:45.

We have selected 9 1/2 weekends for Motorsports Club event in 2008.
First few are Jan 12-13, Apr 26-27, May 17-18, June 28-29. The
dates will soon be up on the website and we'll soon have registration completed,
including secure payment, via the internet.
Upcoming events include the Drivers Edge Jan 19-20, Texas Region SCCA race
Feb 2-3, preceded by a TWS Test 'n Tune day on Feb 1st. Porsche Club is
back Jan 9-10 and Viper Days return 16-17, their first of two events here this
year.
A reminder if you are having trouble finding a hotel room for one of our
weekends, be sure to call Jerry Albrecht at the Manor House Inn at

discounted room.
