Dear Track Enthusiasts-
Getting this newsletter out a little later than we had planned, but here it
is. Gosh, it has been since the first week in August since we sent
one. So, catching up, NASA had a really successful event Aug 4 -5.
We hosted the Test 'n Tune on the Friday before. The Allison Legend group
sponsored three sky-divers that delivered the American flag to start the Star
Bangle Banner, complete with honor guard.
Thanks to Misty and Martin and Chris and Kelley and all the rest for
another successful, well-attended TWS Motorsports Club Sept 1-2.
On Monday the 3rd, Dave Wonders was here with his RIDE SMART
motorcycle school.
CORINTHIAN VINTAGE AUTO RACES took over the track the 7th, 8th and 9th of
September for their second of three events here this year. One of our
favorite events and you get to see some great old cars. Cars have to be at
least 25 years old.
Motorcycles invaded the track again Sept 10 as LONE STAR TRACK DAYS held
another school on the road course.
The LSR PORSCHE CLUB held one of their largest DE events of the
year on the 15th and 16th of Sept.
The month ended up with a one-day DRIVERS EDGE DE event on the
22nd.
RIDE SMART returns October 6 for another motorcycle school.
Then get ready for some country music as the BIG STATE FESTIVAL takes over
the infield on Oct 13-14. 50 bands, five stages and a whole lot
more. Check out their website. They are expecting thousands of music
fans.
HILL COUNTRY PORSCHE CLUB is here on Oct 20-21 for their annual DE.
LONE STAR TRACK DAYS are here Friday, Oct 26, preceding the CENTRAL
MOTORCYCLE RACING ASSOCIATION that will be racing on Oct 27-29.
Unfortunately a busy October calendar precluded us having a TWS Motorsports
Club event, but get tuned -up and revved-up for our next event
Nov
17-18. Note that this is a changed date from earlier
publications. More information can be found
here on our TWS MSC Google group.
