Subject: [External] NGRREC job opening in northeastern Illinois (Land Conservation Specialist - Regional Manager)
Dear Colleagues,
Please share this opening with interested parties and channels. We are looking for a regional manager within our Land Conservation Specialist program – covering the northeast region of the state. This person will help training and onboard new LCS staff partnering with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Someone with supervisor/manager experience and NRCS experience working with the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) and NRCS conservation wetland easements (WRE/WRP) is ideal. This position will need to reside in NE Illinois, ideally centrally located from staff they are supporting. This position is also expected to assist with NRCS CRP/WRE workloads as well. Mileage reimbursement is provided along with possibility of driving NRCS vehicles to conduct work. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions.
