Hello Conservation Partners and Illinois Chorus Frog Enthusiasts,
Attached you will find information about a hands-on wetland restoration workshop happening March 20-24, 2023, at Meredosia National Wildlife located in Meredosia, Illinois. This training is led by Tom Biebighauser who teaches wetland restoration workshops worldwide! Attendees will learn how to design and restore wetland habitat for amphibians, reptiles, and a diversity of birds. By the end of the workshop you will have built one or more prairie wetlands benefiting the Illinois chorus frog.
This workshop is for biologists, engineers, restoration ecologists, heavy equipment operators, hydrologists, and land managers interested in learning about wetland design and construction. You do not need wetland restoration experience to attend. Space is limited. Register by Feb. 27th.
