Subject: [External] Abstract deadline March 15 for Joint Ornithology meeting in Peoria in July

Hi Ben,

Can you send this out to the Illinois TWS Chapter list serve?

Deadline is quickly approaching for the 2024 joint conference of the Association of Field Ornithology, Society of Canadian Ornithologists and Wilson Ornithological Society.

afoscowos2024.org/

Abstracts, Student and Early Professional Travel and Caregiver Grants are all due on March 15th, see website for details on submission.

This is a very student-friendly meeting, including undergraduates, and would be a great first meeting to bring students to where they'll get great constructive feedback on their work.

The conference is July 29-Aug 2, 2024 in Peoria Illinois.

Information on workshops and field trips is up on the website now,

Registration opens soon, rates are up on the website, we try to keep it as cheap as possible and provide as many meals as possible ($345 for professionals, $195 for students)

I'm the local host so if you have any questions let me know. Hope to see some of you there!

- Auriel
