to Two or Three
God brought the Israelites out of slavery Egypt. They were at the edge
of the Red Sea when God hardened Pharoah's heart...again! He actually
put it in Pharoah's heart to gather a powerful army of chariots and
horses and pursue the Israelites. The Israelites were of course
terrified. They said to Moses "Did you just bring us out here to die
because their weren't enough graves in Egypt?!" Moses said to the
Iaraelites "Don't be afraid! Stand still and see what the Lord will do
to save you today. You will never see these Egyptians again. The Lord
is fighting for you! So be still!" (Exodus 14:13-14) Amazingly, though
Moses had the faith that God would deliver them, he still didn't know
how it would happen! He went to God and God gave him instructions
about what to do next.

God moved the pillar of cloud (by day) and fire (by night) to the back
of the Israelite encampment; between the Israelite camp and the
Egyptian camp.

He stood between Israel and their problem, while He was preparing
their deliverance!

He told Moses to raise his rod over the sea. Moses did, and God parted
the sea and blew a wind on it all night to prepare it for the
Israelites to cross over on dry land between two sea walls that didn't
exist before! He told the Israelites to start moving. They crossed,
Pharoah's army pursued them, and God swallowed the entire Egyptian
army up in the sea as the two walls of water came together.

Do: Trust that God has a plan, even when I don't know what it is.
Change: My lack of trust in the sovereign hand of God.
Know: He is at work in every situation. He is strong on the behalf of
those who put their trust in Him.
