【June 4th Special】Faith, Persistence and Action of the Chinese Democracy Movement -- Wei Jingsheng's Speech at the 2025 Global Internet Video Conference Commemorating the 36th Anniversary of the "June 4th Massacre"
In commemorating the victims of June 4th, we must first turn our thoughts and commemorations of the victims into our actions and promote the development of democratic movements at home and abroad. At a time when the domestic and international situation has changed greatly, we must also adapt to the changes in the situation and change many of our ways of thinking and strategies.
What changes? The domestic and international situation is very unfavorable to the democracy movement: it cannot get foreign aid and is seriously infiltrated internally. It is not easy even to persist in raising the banner of the democracy movement. Similarly, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is also caught in internal and external difficulties. The international and domestic situation is also very unfavorable to the CCP: there are a lot of domestic economic and social problems inside of China; and the economic, political and military squeeze of the United States is also gradually escalating.
In the face of such a situation, our tasks are to persist and to fight back. To persist, we must pay attention to the sabotage activities of the CCP agents and the 50 cents army of the CCP. Under the new situation, the CCP's spy system also has many new methods and new inventions, which can better take advantage of the naivety and negative emotions, and even the legal system of the West to cleverly attack overseas democracy movements. This makes many older democracy activists unable to adapt, and even unaware. They even lose their due vigilance and are even used by the enemy. They still cling to the wrong ideas of peace, rationality and non-violence, and are used by the CCP agents without knowing it.
In addition to persistence, we must also take advantage of any available opportunities in the struggle against our enemy to weaken the strength of the CCP and attack the CCP's power. We support any foreign politicians or political parties that do not act in favor of the CCP. We oppose any political forces that help the CCP to speak or do things. We oppose and attack the friends of the CCP with practical actions and mobilization of public opinion.
To this end, we must study the CCP's new tricks, as well as the various relationships between the international community and the CCP and take aimed measures. Some of these relationships are beneficial to us, while some others are beneficial to the CCP. We need to know who we are and who the CCP is. Don't be influenced by Western political parties and thoughts and be clear about our own political direction and our own position. Don't be a nerd or a fool thus letting the CCP agents laugh behind us.

【六四專欄】中國民運的信念、堅持與行動
-- 魏京生在2025年「六四」36周年全球網絡視頻紀念會議上的講話（歐洲之聲）
紀念六四的死難者們，首先是把對死難者的思念和紀念化作我們的行動，推動國內外的民主運動向前發展。在國內外形勢有很大變化的時刻，我們也要適應形勢的變化，改變我們的很多思維方式和策略。
什麽變化呢？國內外形勢對民運很不利：得不到外援，內部遭到嚴重滲透，能堅持舉起這面民運的大旗，已屬不易。同樣地，中共也陷入到內外交困，國際國內形勢對中共也十分不利：國內經濟社會問題一大堆，美國的經濟、政治、軍事的擠壓也在逐步升級。
面對這樣的形勢，我們的任務一是要堅持，二是要反擊。要堅持就要重視特務五毛的破壞活動。新形勢下中共的特務系統也有很多新的手法，新的發明，更加能夠利用西方人的天真和負面情緒以及法律制度，巧妙地打擊海外民運。這讓很多老民運不能適應，甚至沒有察覺。乃至喪失了應有的警惕性，甚至被敵人所利用，還在那兒死抱著和平理性非暴力的錯誤觀念不放，被特務所利用而不自知。
除了堅持，在對敵鬥爭方面也要利用可利用的任何機會，削弱中共的實力，打擊中共的勢力。凡是與中共不對付的外國政治家或政黨，我們就支持。凡是幫助中共說話或者辦事的政治勢力，我們就反對。以實際行動和動員輿論來反對，打擊中共的朋友。
為此我們既要研究中共的新的伎倆，也要研究國際社會與中共的各種關係，並采取針對性的措施。這種關係有些是有利於我們的，也有些是有利於中共的。我們需要知道我們是誰，中共是誰。不要受西方政黨和思潮的影響，要清楚我們的政治方向，我們的立場。不當書呆子和傻子，讓特務們偷著笑。
