2025 "Congress on China's Future" Presentation Conference and Toronto Forum to be Held in Toronto City Hall Chamber in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
The "Congress on China's Future," co-sponsored and promoted by Wei Jingsheng, Wang Dan, and Wang Juntao, will hold a presentation conference in Toronto,
Canada.
China is already in the midst of a "major transformation unseen in a century." Political, economic, military, and diplomatic crises are rife, and
dramatic changes could occur at any time.
To put China's democracy on the right track and respond to these changes, Wei Jingsheng, Wang Dan, Wang Juntao, and a group of others with lofty ideas have
initiated and promoted the "Congress on China's Future," aiming to end the authoritarian rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and establish a new China
"of the people, by the people, for the people." China has experienced over two thousand years of feudal despotism, and the Chinese Communist regime has
reigned supreme for over seventy years. It embraces Marxism as its ancestor, has destroyed millennia of culture, embodied lies as truth, established
tyranny as law, exalted human evil, punished mutual assistance and kindness, promoted a slave economy, destroyed families and harmed descendants, filled the
government with double-faced figures, and imprisoned righteous individuals. China is now a land of dry wood, destined to burst into a raging fire,
destroying this unjust and inhumane country. After the collapse of the old order, can a democratic China be rebuilt in today's environment?
The "Congress on China's Future" aims to confront the issues, build consensus, explore ways to end tyranny, and study the path to rebuilding a democratic
China. It invites those who love freedom and pursue democracy to participate and take action. The San Francisco preparation conference in
November 2023 publicly announced the convening of the "Congress on China's Future". The first Chinese "Congress on China's Future" was then held in
Washington, D.C., in March 2024. The second "Congress on China's Future" is currently under preparation. On August 5, 2025, a preparation
conference of the 2nd "Congress on China's Future" and Toronto Forum will be held. Honored guests attending the conference include:

was arrested and imprisoned twice by the CCP. Wang Dan was sent to exile in 1998. He holds a Ph.D. in History and East Asian Languages from
