Why don't we forget the June 4th Massacre? Why is it the eternal nightmare and memory of the Chinese people?
The "1989 Democracy Movement" is the rallying cry of the contemporary Chinese democracy movement. It is a new starting point and new monument in the history of the Chinese people's opposition to the autocratic rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and the pursuit and writing of their dream of democracy with their souls for freedom. The Chinese Dream is to realize the dream of a democratic political system. The Chinese Soul is to popularize human rights and freedom for the Chinese people.
Yet, the Chinese Communist Party has attempted to cover up this bloody historical fact in various ways, and has attempted to crush the memories of those involved with the ruthless lapse of time.
In an autocratic and dictatorial country, freedom, democracy and human rights will never see the light of day. Under the tyranny of violence there is no way out. The Chinese people have never been able to shake off the thousand-year-old iron shackles of "family rule" and "party rule" and step into the enlightened and sunny "people's rule". In 1978, Wei Jingsheng proposed "political democratization". It is the direction that the Chinese people pursue yesterday, today and tomorrow, and it is the hope and motivation that will always flow in the blood of the Chinese nation.
Because cities and regions around the world will hold June 4th commemoration activities, in order to avoid time conflicts and maintain the operation of the global platform, various places recommended holding the 2025 global online video conference "The 2025 Global Internet Video Commemoration of the 36th Anniversary of the June 4th Massacre -- Adhering to the Spirit of the 1989 Democracy Movement, Create Democracy and Constitutional Government in China" in advance on June 2nd, 2025.
The commemorative activities are organized by: SinoEuro Voices, China Democratic Front, and China Democratic Party UK Headquarters.

為什麽不忘「六四」？為什麽它是中國人永遠的夢魘與記憶？
「八九民運」是當代中國民主運動的集結號，是中國人民反對中共專制獨裁統治、追求與書寫民主夢、自由魂的歷史新起點、新豐碑。中國夢，是實現政治體制民主夢；中國魂，是普及中國人的人權自由魂。
中共以種種方式企圖遮蔽這一血腥的歷史事實，並妄圖以無情的年輪碾碎當事人的記憶。
在專制獨裁的國度裏，自由、民主與人權在暴力淫威下，永遠不見天日，沒有出路。中國人始終未擺脫千年鐵鎖的「家天下」與「黨天下」，得以步入開明陽光的「民天下」。魏京生在1978年提出「政治民主化」，是昨天今天明天中國人追求的方向，是永遠流淌在中華民族血液中的希冀與動力。
因為世界各國城市、地區都會舉辦「六四」紀念活動，為了避免時間上沖突，維護全球平台堅持運作，故各地建議：提前於6月2日舉行2025年全球網絡視頻「紀念八九民運，創建憲政民主——『六四』36周年紀念會議」。
紀念活動籌備组织：歐洲之聲、民主中國陣線、中國民主黨英國總部。
