Subject: new voting app to find polling places

Dear friends and colleagues (past and present),

Please pardon this blast email (in some cases blast from the past).  It's something I've never done, will probably not do again, but it's close to the election.

Sam Oliker-Friedland, my son, working at the New Organizing Institute ( http://neworganizing.com/ ) has helped developed an app that has all national polling place data
http://politicalwire.com/archives/2010/10/29/find_out_where_to_vote.html#037861a .   With a few exceptions, anyone in the U.S. can input their zip code and find out where to vote.

Google has adopted it as its election app.

More about it here:

Please help spread it around since some percentage of people (3-5, especially young people) don't vote just because they don't know where their polling place is.

Thanks,
Lew Friedland
