How to use Google Groups and Groups+ at the same time

It's a wee bit easier said than done, but even a dysfunctional 5th
grader can manage to do this, so why not more adults?

In most instances, adding all the extra graphics and social networking
perks doesn't actually add anything of value to a given topic or to
its subsequent replies, but it seems most of us can't manage to cope
nowadays without tossing in lots of pictures, videos and sound bites.
Why is that?

I can share a few tricks or methods of keeping our public Usenet/
newsgroups as open channels offering mostly a clean text-only format
that can't be easily moderated, or perhaps you can impress me and
others with those benefits of Groups+ that can be remotely moderated
to death at the push of a button, as turned on or off and/or merely
diverted/blocked from specific groups that don't want to be bothered
with even accidentally reading any of your stuff, as remotely
accomplished by those you don't even know of or having any way of ever
discovering their true ID.
