[twitter4r-users] status uris paths

hi,

i'm trying to use twitter4r with twitter and indenti.ca. It works fine
for now (i just tried to post a new status).
But identi.ca uses identi.ca/api/statuses/... in order to access to
its API, so i need to add "/api/" to the uris paths and i didn't find
how to change that dynamically through the twitter4r API. Can someone
help me ?
