Twitter translation progress

The translation progress seems to have stalled, with the number of
untranslated strings doesn't seem to go down by much whenever I see
it. Is this because of the continous fail whales the translators
experience? Even changing translation pages takes about 5-6 refreshes.

In the meanwhile, I am trying to put forward an idea to try to
accelerate the translation progress - what if we make a commitment of
5 translations a day? The number of untranslated strings currently
stands at ~2200 strings, and if we have 15 active, quality
translators, we can finish this in about a month's time.

I'm pretty sure the moderating will take even longer than the
translation - if we have a few qualified people dedicated at
moderating, that would certainly speed things up. Perhaps it's time to
invite a select few translators? Perhaps @ivanlanin can suggest us a
few recommended and dedicated people for the job?

Honestly, I would really like to see twitter available in Indonesian.

Cool. 

I am committing myself to moderate at least 25 strings a day starting today. But, until yesterday, the moderation tool still shows Fail Whales every 3-5 strings moderated, then i need to refresh 3-5 times until i can moderate again. So within this situation, moderating 25 strings could take 2-2,5 hours a day. I think i can be more productive than that :)

Thanks Jinen, those 502 bad gateway errors in the pending translation
page are really stopperbugs. About a month ago when I start
translating, this didn't happen so much. I only have a few failwhales
when I was moderating last week.

Opening the moderator tools over the weekend still produces fail
whales for me. Wonder if a workaround has been implemented?

Fail whales amount seems to have decreased a little bit. Now, i can
*sometimes* do a few pages of translations without any fail whales.
