Direct messages

I have created an application on twitter with the access level 'Read, Write and Access direct messages'

When I try and access my users direct messages I get the error 'This application is not allowed to access or delete your direct messages.'

Any idea where I am going wrong?!

After reseting my applications consumer key and consumer secret it allowed me to access my users direct messages.

Oh I know.. reset your application and consumer secrets :)
