Semantics in Twitter Metadata -- Please Read

This is good... describes, Hypertweet -- a very good proposal from
someone who really knows semantics well:

I hope Twitter does something like Hypertweet as it thinks through
adding Metadata to tweets.

Key Point: Twitter metadata should support triples in the RDF sense.

As long you can put triples into the metadata fields then the full
semantic web is possible. Twitter could even become the hub of the
Semantic Web actually.

... If the Twitter folks implement Twitter metadata to support RDF
triples (and the W3C standards for the Semantic Web)
