GSOC 2015(Summingbird and Scalding)

Hi, I am  interested in contributing for Summingbird or the Scalding projects, can anyone please suggest where I should get started for contributing? 

Also what are the projects that are of real focus from the ideas list this time for 2015?

I would ask on the scalding mailing list on how to contribute or if there are any smaller/starter issues you can work on:

We will probably have a scalding/summingbird project for GSOC next year, but it's still quite away from that time :)
