I wanted to let you all know that Twitter has scheduled downtime for
this coming Saturday, December 15th. We'll be publicizing that the
downtime could run from 10AM to 5PM PST, but in all likelihood we'll
be done by 2 or 3PM PST.

This downtime is to accommodate a migration to a new data center.
Once the migration is complete, we'll have access to greatly expanded
server resources. Expect serious improvements in the new year.

Please inform users of your applications of the outage as best you
can. Thanks much.
