Just wanted to thank you guys for the update to the behaviour of the
request limit api call. Its now behaving as I originally wanted it to
(ie. showing how many requests remaining). Best news is that this is
visible to all users of Hahlo, they can see it in the top right below
the 'tweet' button, and it will update when an authenticated request
is made.

Thanks again guys, always nice to see these little things get sorted
out.

I know it can take some time between when we acknowledge an issue and
when it gets fixed, but we try to keep the pipeline moving.

Hey Alex,

has there been any announcement that you changed the behaviour of the rate_limit_status call now, just in case I missed it?

I would like to repeat my request to also send the current status limit per hour, so clients can plan and schedule their requests in advance, and / or also send the remaining time until the counter is reset.

The current number available is a good information to display to users, but cannot be used by clients that automatically retrieve information to proactively avoid hitting the limit while still giving users regular updates very well.

Thanks,
Marco

I'm glad the rate_limit is working as well. We could really use a
"reset_timestamp" value as well so we can figure out our limits
properly.

Thanks!!

Alex,

Ditto on the request that Marco (and others) have made for the ability
to get
the limit per hour in addition to "remaining_hits."

Thanks much,
Kevin
