Cannot run examples after new updates

I'm getting the following error while running the build script for scala examples on my ubuntu 12.04 machine
(similar message comes for java examples as well)
this exception comes after building the project with sbt 0.13.1 which is used in the latest update
(also google was not very helpful...)

Compiling HelloGraph ...
Running HelloGraph...
Generating a complete directed graph with 100 nodes...
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: scala.Predef$.intWrapper(I)Lscala/runtime/RichInt;
    at com.twitter.cassovary.graph.TestGraphs$.generateCompleteGraph(TestGraph.scala:80)
    at HelloGraph$.main(HelloGraph.scala:26)
    at HelloGraph.main(HelloGraph.scala)
