Hi all,

I have freshly installed bower and all commands throw:

/usr/local/lib/node_modules/bower/node_modules/tmp/lib/tmp.js:261
  throw err;
        ^
TypeError: Request path contains unescaped characters.

I have already went through one such issue and tried setting all of http_proxy, https_proxy, HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY to no avail.
Is there something that I am missing?

Thanks
Navgeet

Hi Navgeet,

i get the same error on a "bower install" that i'm trying to run on a jenkins build.
Here are a view versions numbers of the used tools:
+ npm --version
1.3.13
+ node --version
v0.11.8
+ grunt --version
grunt-cli v0.1.10
+ bower --version
1.2.7

Http-proxies are all set, in env and in npm itself.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Daniel
