LASS is our famous original 60-piece multi-instrument divisi string library, painstakingly developed by recording three different divisi sections ( + + section at a time) on a trusted scoring stage, for unprecedented individual control of each section. We have also recorded First Chair players so you can layer them with the sections or use them as soloists. From the delicate tones of a divisi section playing Sustains and beautiful Legatos, to the power of Staccatos and Spiccatos and everything in between, LA Scoring Strings 3 captures the broad expressive range and diversity of the orchestral string family while providing the flexibility to create smaller intimate section sounds. Pristine recordings and meticulous editing ensure every note of your music will shine.
Hey Mikael! I agree. Another one of the reasons i tend to use my scoring software, Dorico Pro, when I want to do a full orchestral piece with all the instrument sections. It allows me to orchestrate realistically with harmonizing the two flutes with two clarinets or separating the harmony between horns 1 + 2 with 1 trumpet and horns 3 + 4 with 2 trumpet etc. Plus you can divisi so you can maintain a rich harmony with less and quieter instrumentation.
So many great film scores get their eeriness from strings playing harmonics, but most libraries overlook harmonics, or include a throwaway patch or two. Each LASS section (and sub-section) contains very usable harmonic patches. The same can be said for its sordino (muted strings) patches, which offer yet another palette of sound.
This is probably a good time for me to address the big question and let you know how LASS sounds: exceptional. I was glad to hear that the library has a dry overall sound without much ambience, allowing for more definition in phrasing. The strings themselves sound pristine and smooth, while the shorter articulations possess a slight grit to their attack. I own a few string libraries, but I don't think I'll be using any of them in the foreseeable future. LASS covers everything very well, even as a solo instrument. The other major libraries have some big things in the works, but they would have to really hit it out of the park to touch LASS, which is outstanding and ready now.
Hi! I've heard a lot of good stuff about the LA Scoring Strings from Audiobro but they are a bit to expensive for my taste. I'm looking to buy my first professional/semi-professional string library and I also want individual/solo strings in the same package or bundle. The music I will be making is similar to Lana Del Rey (Cinematic) or Julia Michaels Issues (Clear/Modern) and of course Strings for EDM. What do I buy? It's a plus if the package includes Brass and Percussion but I'm mostly interested in the strings.
Music created using TOKYO SCORING STRINGS, the flagship orchestral string library created by Impact Soundworks. This library features the world-renowned Koichiro Muroya Strings (Final Fantasy 7 Remake, My Hero Academia, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Attack on Titan, Octopath Traveler + hundreds more) as recorded by Japan's most in-demand recording engineer, Mitsunori Aizawa, in the legendary SoundCity Studio in Tokyo. -scoring-strings/
Thanks, Jeff. Man, I think is triggering our GAS and FOMO instincts. Again, if this was solo strings, I would be posting that I've just bought it. As it stands, I really don't have much use for it -- but that doesn't stop it from tempting me, given the price!
From the purified RNA Illumina mRNAseq data was produced by The Genome Analysis Centre, Norwich on the Illumina HiSeq platform, with 100-base single end reads. The sequence reads were, trimmed to 80 bases and down-sampled to 28M reads per sample (to retain comparability with the earlier data), aligned to unigenes and scored for SNPs as described previously for an initial panel of 37 TNDH lines [7]. The scoring strings were used to extend those produced previously for 21, 323 SNP markers scored across the 37 TNDH lines used originally, and produce an updated linkage map. The data were used to refine the order of markers (Additional file 1 for the A genome, Additional file 2 for the C genome), increasing the number of recombination bins identified from 527 defined by the original 37 lines [7] to 887 defined by the full 75 lines. Consensus marker strings were defined for each of these recombination bins and a revised linkage map was constructed (Additional file 3).
Scoring rules may be configured to assign negative points for posts flagged as inappropriate and thus affect the score value. However, once a badge is earned, it will not be automatically removed due to scoring point reduction or scoring rule changes.
To support scoring, the SocialEvent needs to override the method getVerb() so that an appropriate verb is returned for each action. The verb returned for an action may be one commonly used (such as POST) or one specialized for the component (such as ADD RATING). There is an n-1 relationship between actions and verbs.
Specify the quality scoring used in the FASTQ file. Must be one of"phred" (the default), "solexa", or "illumina".If set to "phred" (or "solexa" or "illumina"),the qualities will be stored in a PhredQuality (orSolexaQuality or IlluminaQuality, respectively)object.
