TWITCH API - Streamer Key Questions

Hi! I am very new user on API's. Ill be honest I don't have any knowledge in API's.. 

Question is how to make when user submits their stream key it will display the stream? On the website. Is it possible through API? 

Sorry I am new so I want to learn about API's...

What are you trying to accomplish?

A stream key is used by an RTMP broadcasting application to authenticate the video you are broadcasting with the ingest server. It does not play any role in displaying content on a website.
