There is a file for 15 off-staff primary songs, and another for 68 on-the-staff songs. I added some coloring pages so they can be printed front to back without any page turns. Some time ago I also made up a couple of covers. One mimics the actual primary songbook cover, but uses more ink. The other is more ink friendly.

Thank you so much for posting these in this format! I hope you are able to get your site up and running again but I also love the complete download. Out of curiosity, could you possibly post the versions with finger numbers instead of letters for the off staff songs? Hope all is well with you and yours!

From best-selling artist David Glen Hatch, Jackman Music brings you Favorite Primary Songs for Advanced Piano. This book of 10 elegant arrangements contains the most beloved Primary songs set for experienced pianists. The rich warmth of these pieces may be enjoyed in sacred settings, concert performances, or appreciated in the home. Wherever played, these renditions will provide performers and listeners with an awe-inspiring experience and a fresh appreciation for the beautiful primary songs they've loved for years.

Upon the single release David Hepworth of Smash Hits expressed his admiration for Robert Smith and wondered "how long The Cure can continue to prop their songs against the same chord progression, with its clambering bass and deadpan drums."[2]

Wiggle Songs: I aimed for one high energy, favorite song that included movement for the first wiggle song as we start singing our wiggle songs while some classes and kids are still coming into the Primary room. Next, I wanted a wiggle song that would get everyone up on their feet, as the movement now always helps them be a little more still later. Finally, we would end our wiggle songs with a still fun and upbeat song, but something with less movement. To simplify the year, I picked out 3 songs for the first 6 months, then repeated those songs for the following 6 months.

I write songs to share my faith in Christ. Bible songs, Christmas songs, Easter songs, and many more for both children and adults. With over 100,000 subscribers on YouTube, it's been my privilege to share music and testimony with many faithful friends around the world. I'm thankful for all of you who purchase, watch, or listen to my music. You're the reason I keep writing.

All Because of Him is a song celebrating how the Baby born in Bethlehem changed everything. And even today, we sing songs and tell stories of that night, and the One who brought us light, healing, strength and hope for a better world.

Your songs are mine and my kids' favorites! We play them in the car & on the piano and get so excited when a new one comes out. My 3 year old son with Autism belts out entire verses (with actions) of the song "I will shine" and it's about the sweetest thing I've ever seen.

I have always felt that the written word is much more powerful when combined with beautiful music. You have such a gift for this, and I appreciate these songs that feel like blessings I can carry with me, ponder as I fall asleep and hear in my heart when I wake up.

To write songs that help bring individuals, families and communities closer to Christ. When you purchase them here or listen on streaming platforms, you enable me to continue writing music. Thank you.

The lessons are planned to be taught in sequence. With the exception of the final lesson, which is a celebration of Appalachian Culture through the activities learned in the first four lessons, the other lessons can stand alone, and be taught singly. Some of the activities may include more complicated songs or actions than is appropriate for your students, so please adapt these lessons to suit the unique needs of your own students.

The lesson plans contained in this unit are aligned with National Standards in Music Education, listed on the first page of each lesson plan. Additionally, they meet standards outlined in the Kentucky Core Content for Assessment in the Arts (primary) and in the North Carolina Standard course of study in Music for grades 3-5. Each lesson begins with identification of National standards and objectives written in language appropriate for National Standard-based or state-based lesson planning.

Most folk songs, singing games, tales and instrumental music from traditional cultures have variants and "cousins" floating around in the world of singing and playing. The collection of music and games used to compile the repertoire for the lessons in this project includes only one version of each item. Teachers should use their own discretion in selecting songs and games for their own respective classrooms, based on the unique needs of their own students. If there are other songs that you would like to substitute for those listed in a lesson plan, do not hesitate to make those substitutions. All of these items come from an oral tradition, in which the written versions don't carry much weight anyhow! If a song or game is listed, but the version indicated differs from one you prefer or know better, do not hesitate to make those substitutions as well. Folklore is a living, dynamic process of singing, playing and telling stories. The process of passing along this repertoire or one of it's cousins is more important than exact notation, phrasing or game rules.

Alan Lomax once said in response to searching for the pure American folk song, "there just ain't no such animal." (Lomax, 1960). In response to singing and sharing the songs of her family, Jean Ritchie (1952) said, "I wish that, when you sing these songs, you won't feel bound to sing every note as you see it in the book. It is almost impossible to capture a folk tune on a piece of paper, with all the little variations that the individual singer puts into the tune each time he sings it...you will be singing the song your way, which is what all true folk singers do."

Bradley, Barbara A. (2017). Round and round the water cycle. Science & Children, 54.6, pp. 42-9. A 10-day unit plan for the primary grades using informational books, multimedia, and hands-on investigation. Two songs about the water cycle are part of the learning.

In its Guidelines for Primary Source Literacy, the Society of American Archivists describe primary sources as "compelling, direct evidence of human activity" and that "primary sources are materials in a variety of formats that serve as original evidence documenting a time period, an event, a work, people, or ideas."

We investigated whether the use of primary or secondary behavioural defences is related to prey sensory thresholds using two species of North American katydids, Neoconocephalus ensiger and Amblycorypha oblongifolia. Male katydids produce intense calling songs to attract mates, and many gleaning bat species are known to use these calls to locate them as prey. Low duty cycle calling (i.e. sporadic calls) is a primary defence against gleaning bats (prevents attacks), and song cessation is a secondary defence (enables survival of an attack), for which these two species show behavioural differences. Echolocation calls of Myotis septentrionalis, a sympatric gleaning bat species, were broadcast to singing katydids and to neural preparations of these katydids to test if differences in behavioural response were related to differences in auditory sensitivity. We measured thresholds and firing patterns of the T-cell, an auditory interneuron involved in predator detection. We hypothesized that low duty cycle calling is the best defence for species not sensitive enough to mount a secondary defence in response to predator cues; therefore, we predicted that N. ensiger (high duty cycle song) would have lower behavioural and T-cell thresholds than A. oblongifolia (low duty cycle song). Although more N. ensiger ceased singing than A. oblongifolia, the number and maximum firing rate of T-cell action potentials did not differ between species for echolocation call sequences. We suggest that the T-cell has divergent functions within the Tettigoniidae, including predator and mate detection, and the function could be context dependent in some species.

In order to progress in the major, the department requires students to earn a C- or better in any individual Major Required course. In order to graduate, the university requires an overall core GPA of 2.0. Students must also complete, within the first 4 semesters as a music major: MU 1040 , MU 1121A , MU 1131A , MU 1201 , and MU 2211A , plus a minimum of 2 primary ensemble units.

Students in the CPP Department of Music are required to participate in a primary performing ensemble each semester they are enrolled in studio and performance seminar. In addition to participating in a primary ensemble, students are strongly encouraged to participate in a secondary ensemble to enrich their learning and breadth of repertory. See department for assigned primary ensemble.
