Visting Lan World This Thursday

Hello all!

This Thursday Nush and I will be visiting Lan World. I am extending
this invitation to anyone interested in checking out the location
before our event. I will promptly make the final announcement
somewhere around midnight that night so also if you have any input let
me know.

A few things to note. The 2 tournament style plan may not work with
the time/resources we have. We may include everyone in the tournament
but then give a small prize to top finishing bronze, silver, gold, and
plat players (separate from the 1st/2nd/3rd place prizes). This is to
simplify our first event and also to make sure we have the time.
Depending on how this goes we can have a 2 separate tournament style
LAN in the future.

Like I stated in the last post let me know if you have any input
before I make the official announcement. Also we are still looking
for sponsors/prizes for raffle/tournament prizes. Let me know if you
have come up with anything. Lan World may provide a gift card or two
for the raffle/tournament. Also I will be buying pizza for the group.

Beyond that have a good one guys and looking forward to seeing you on
the 9th!

Ok Mike and myself checked out the venue. Looks great and it should
work out fine. I'm going to type out a final flyer so Lan World can
post it on their website and we can have it to hand out to friends/
university gaming groups. Stay tuned I'll be posting the final
announcement shortly with format and details!
