Greetings e-sports lovers, geeks, starcraft aficionados, tco
participants, etc etc
Keven and I (Aaron) want to get involved in the local e-sports
community again. We all have had our side projects, but I haven't
done much collectively with you guys since TCO1 and 2... Kevin,
myself, and I'm sure all of you have many ideas to share. I want to
create a fun local e-sports scene that can expand globally if ever
given the chance, however above all else I want it to be fun, and I
want everyone to be able to be involved in planning or participating.
Kevin had many great ideas, I have a few ideas I would like to bounce
off of you guys, and I'm sure you guys have ideas/quality input to
give. I generally have the weekends off but almost always I have
Sunday/Monday off. If we could find a time to meet to talk about this
in person that is great however if we cant meet up due to
schedules/transportation/etc we can always have a skype conference
call. We had a great spark with our first meeting, a lot of talent
and great ideas. I don't want that to be snuffed out. I think
e-sports can only grow and I think Minnesota and the Midwest has had a
lack of events - and its not that there is a lack of interest here its
just that we need to get this beotch goin. So now that I'm getting
long winded and completely boring you now I'll cut to the chase: Feel
free to message me with times/locations that work for you to either
meet in person or times you can have a online conference call. If you
do not have transportation I'm sure we can work out rides.
I hope to hear from all of you! Its been a long time.
~Aaron "routinetrafficstop" Miles
(p.s. a message for Kevin: Sorry for some reason your reply got buried
in my inbox by a bunch of junk and I didn't look far enough back to
find it until now when I decided to send you another reply to double
check to see if you were still down... I found out you were indeed
down and I was the one that didn't respond. The HOTS trailer looks
baller for sure tons of cool units. I'm not sure if I'm too much of a
purist to be ok with this idea but what if they added a 4th race (like
in war 3?)? Thanks for your initial e-mail I hope that you have
re-kindled this thing and we can keep it going... oh and sorry about
all the fire analogies :)
