Hello,

Thanks for the information of your on-site event and the tournament.
The total prize pool should be pre-set and should remain the same
until the end of the tournament without being affected by the total
participant number or the total entry fees coming in.

Regards,
Blizzard eSports Team

looks like they are trying to have any excuse not to sponsor us...

I gave them the info and they asked for the same info... i gave it to
them then they sent this response....

Not sure if we should give up the Blizzard sponsorship for this
tournament and focus on having a "set" prize for the next tournament
so we can hopefully have blizzards "blessing"

In the interest that we may get some sort of approval i decided to
tell blizzard we set the prize pool at 150$ regardless of
participation.

If we need to make adjustments due to extra money left over we can add
bonus prizes for a raffle or to top finishing bronze-gold players...

I doubt this late they will respond/approve the tournament. Next time
I will make sure we meet all of their requirements with our initial
information submission, and send the information the moment its been
made official.

I guess we just need to keep in mind this tournament is more/less a
test run and to be optimistic yet realistic about our expectations.
If not getting approved by blizzard is our only setback for the event
i think we can say its been a wonderful success.

Hi Aaron,

I just got back from EB games inWoodbury.  I went there and asked if they have any gift certificate / donation for our lan.  the manager there said all the gift / donation are handle thru their corporate site .
The number is 11-817-424-2290  Option 6.

Go ahead and give them a call and tell them about lan - tell them that we are promoting local LAN / local gaming - introduce younger generation to gaming in a friend / competitive way locally.

This is one of the few are planing this summer. if they have any donation for us for door prizes... etc.

Good luck

Nush
