This thread is to get a proper head count for the event... and to see
if we need to bring a few computers to the LAN... or see if we need to
also rent more than 4 of the locations computers...

Please let me know if your coming... and about how many of your
friends are coming.

So I will be coming... however not playing but I believe at least 2 of
my friends will come, possibly three.

if your not sure how many friends give an estimate like 2-3 so we can
get a low figure and a high figure so we can make plans for proper
accommodations!

Thanks!

Sounds like I will be bringing at least 2 friends. I will be bringing my own computer for casting as well.

It'll be me and possible a friend. He said it depends on how his
school work is that weekend.

I should be able to be there. I don't think I'll bring anyone though.

sup guys,

Aaron, I talked to the owner and it is clear that we can have the
place for the day. However, I'd like you and a couple others to see
it, so we know how to set up our PC, etc. Plus, we will be using his
place and his connection from 11:00am - 2:00 am. He would like to ask
that we pay $10 person and if we need to use his 8 computers, we can
talk about it. He is willing to give us some EB games / Best buy gift
cards. (He didnot say how much, but I am guessing $50-100 if we have
20+ people) it is very cheap and generous, if you consider we have to
rent a place / get the connection, etc....) I am willing to pitch in
$50 for me and 1 other person into the pool and we can work out the
finance. What I'd like to see is that we pitch a little more and get
a network going. I don't like to see 1 of us paid for most of it. I
think we all should meet there at the LAN place and see how much money
we can come up with and how much we are willing to give out, etc...
*
For those who are in here and willing to help / have fun /
networking. Please meet there and we see if we have enough to go
on.

Aaron, give me call when you get a chance - if you are in St. Paul,
I'd like to sit down with you as to how we can make this happen. we
have less then 3 weeks to go.

Ok Nush I'll give ya a ring... Are you open on Thursdays/Saturdays/Sundays?  I would love to meet up with you, check out Lan World, and discuss to finalize the event.  What It looks like here everyone will be bringing about 2 friends each... So I'm guessing we are going to have 30 people minimum.  Also a maximum I think we need to plan for would be 50 people.  Everyone feel free to keep posting how many friends you expect to be coming so we can get the best idea possible.  Nush would you be ok if we extended the Lan World visit to anyone who is interested in seeing the facility and discussing the finalization of the event?  I also stated that I will buy pizza for the group I'm also willing to throw in a little more money if we need to rent the computers or anything else.  Thank you so much for checking with Lan World for us i'm sure everyone else is grateful too for all your help for this event.

I'll be calling in a few,

Aaron
