Hi-dee-ho, hackers!

No events out of the ordinary this week, unless you count the arrival of the MakerBot!  It's scheduled for delivery tomorrow, so expect to see it Wednesday night...or at least, the parts kit.  Some assembly required.

We'll start on that on Wednesday, and while we build, we'll chew the fat on what we'd like to take to the Science Museum for Make: day.  We've been asked to have a reasonably detailed proposal for them by Friday, so bring your ideas to the meeting and we'll throw a few at the planners and see what sticks.  They've already expressed an interest in seeing the life-size Operation game, the Spoonapult, and any clothesline racers that may still exist (or may be built in the interim).  Perhaps we can get the MakerBot up and running by then?  Only time will tell.

Finally, remember that it is the start of a new month and it's time to pay dues.  If you haven't paid via PayPal or in person at last week's meeting, this Wednesday night would be an outstanding time to do that.
