There will be 3-Speed rides on both Saturday and Sunday (June 18 and
19, respectively). On Saturday, I think we'll be doing a morning ride
somewhere around Minneapolis/St. Paul. Hiawatha Cyclery may be having
a garage sale if the weather is good, so perhaps something on the
south side with a swap to paw through the sale stuff?

Sunday is the Blind Lizard Motorcycle show on Nicolet Island. I have
never been there, but it sounds like quite an event. We'll be riding
from somewhere in the metro are to Blind Lizard and taking in the
sights, then probably riding to a food/beverage location before
heading our separate ways.

Both rides are open to suggestion. Post below to shape this to suit
your desires.

I would like to come. I would just need a time and date. I am off that
weekend, so I would love to be there!

I am possibly a strong maybe for the Saturday ride on the 18th (so,
take my vote with a grain of salt). And, I'm not sure at all about the
Sunday ride...its Fathers day and I expect to be showered with gifts
and attention.

Saturday's south side ride sounds great. Snak Shak...I think you
mentioned (on mpsbikelove) riding over the Mendota bridge and up along
the river to Lilydale. I think that would be a great idea....or, if
there is a lot of southside riding, maybe just to Mendota.

Thanks.

Let's decide - I vote for Saturday morning, say 9:00? That way it
doesn't blow such a big hole in the middle of the day. Meet at the
Princess Depot (i.e. the train station in Minnehaha Park) for a roll
around Fort Snelling, across the Mendota Bridge and on to historic
Mendota. We'll take the Great River trail back to avoid the hill on
13. with a few meanders through Fort Snelling park that should get us
back to Hiawatha around noon so we can see the garage sale, and we are
a mile or so from our start.

There is free on-street parking in the neighborhood across Hiawatha
Ave. (55) from Minnihaha Falls. Be advised that you need to pay for
parking at Minnehaha Falls and they ticket aggressively.

My cell phone number is (612) 360-5064 if you run into trouble getting
to the ride.
