If your fleet's management has enabled the KVH Crew Internet Service on your vessel's terminal, you might see the KVH Crew Internet Gateway web page when you try to access the Internet. The Crew Internet Service grants each crew member a certain maximum amount of Internet data usage per day, week, or month over each configured WAN connection (e.g., VSAT, cell, shore Wi-Fi, alternate, or backup). Internet data can also be provided to crew members and guests with a voucher.

If you forget your password, ask your ship's master to reset it. Your fleet's management can log into KVH Manager and generate a temporary password for you. When you log in with this temporary password, you will be asked to set a new password. Do not duplicate any previous passwords.

You can start your Internet session at the Internet Access page of the Crew Internet Gateway, provided you have not yet reached your usage limit for the current period. The Internet Access page displays how much data you have remaining, or "Unlimited" if you have unlimited access to the Internet. It also shows how many minutes you have remaining for the day (if applicable).

Your Internet session will end automatically when your selected duration expires or when you reach your usage limit, whichever comes first. However, you can save data usage by ending the session earlier when you are done using the Internet. Return to the Crew Internet Gateway at and select Stop Internet Session.

Your Internet session will also end automatically if your vessel's terminal switches to a different WAN connection. You can then start a new Internet session, assuming an allocation profile or voucher has been assigned to you that permits data usage over that WAN connection.

The Account Summary page of the Crew Internet Gateway shows your data allowance and current usage for each WAN connection, as well as the daily time limit (if applicable) and voucher data availability (if applicable). The allocation profile that currently applies based on the terminal's active WAN connection is highlighted in blue.

I tried to stream my Apple Music from Iphone to Sound Node 2i. Why? It never happened till last week and suddenly I am asked for Airplay Password - Enter password for Node2I. The same thing when I try to use my HP laptop, trying to connect Apple Music to Sound Node 2I.

Can you please help to resolve the issue. If there is a process to do it, please highlight the installation process step by step to resolve it as I want to connect Apple Music to my Sound node 2I which is connected to integrated amps and stereo speakers.

You (inadvertently?) created an AirPlay Password during the setup process when you were prompted by your iOS device. We have spoken with Apple a few times about this. There is no way in Bluesound to remove this without factory resetting your player. You can contact www.apple.com/airplay for more details.

Negative. I did a factory reset after reading on forums and didnt set any password when i reinstalled the app on apple phone. I am sure as i had the same issue with my Bose Soundtouch 300 soundbar as it requested airplay passsword and after the reset it never asked again. Not sure how i can resolve it but i will do a device reset and see if it can be resolved. Thanks anyway.

I too had this problem but had never set an Airplay password. I was about to do a factory reset when I tried my WiFi password and that cured the problem and allowed me to connect to the IOS Home app and see my Node as an Airplay option. I had initially set it up on WiFi before changing it to an ethernet connection. Easier than a factory reset!

It does not work in my case. I've never created password for my Node (N130). My MacBook still asks to give the password for the device it sees online, than says it was incorrect, nothing works. WiFi password did not help either, I tried it. My laptop and Node are connected via Ethernet cable to the same router.
I do not want to do factory reset because I am afraid to lose connection to NAS, and it was difficult to configure. I would get rid of the Node, the only thing that stops me doing this is my other device, NAD C700. It's a pitty support (or possibly development team) is not able to provide solution for this long lasting issue.

We do concur it is not ideal, but the ONLY way to resolve this is through a Factory Reset.

Remember to back up your playlists; -us/articles/360000479488

TIP - if you have multiple Players in your home - if you factory reset only 1, it will pick up playlists and credentials from others when it rejoins the network. So if you are removing AirPlay passwords on multiple machines, don't do them all at once, spread it out doing 1 a day for minimal data loss.

What a blast... one of my great adventures. To Skipper Sam, a great big THANKS for your hospitality, patience and gourmet meals...every day a cuisine delight. I sailed with a group of people that related, had fun and worked together. This trip will stay etched in my memory.

Thank you so much for such an exciting adventure - it's something that will stick in our minds for a long time when we're back home. It's lived up to our expectations and more; the sailing was awesome, so many beautiful bays and sunshine sailing (mostly), and delicious food - don't know how you jiggle it all! First proper long sailing trip - first of many I hope.

Sam you are a star! Thanks for all the wonderful home cooked food, the entertainment and most of all your patience with a rookie crew member! Had a great holiday and can't wait to see you again - goodbye blue waters...

You cannot bottle sunshine and happiness but Sam comes as close as one skipper can.
The best way to enjoy a Yacht IBIS adventure is to know what you want. If you want to be catered to in white gloves with table clothes, this may not be your trip. There are great options elsewhere. If you are looking to have a great full participatory sail that has you pulling lines, grinding winches, taking the helm, climbing over everything and making lifelong friendships, sign aboard to be an IBIS pirate.

I had a great time sailing from Grenada to St Vincent. The weather and the wind were perfect and Neil was an excellent skipper. I want to do some more sailing next year so keep me informed. The boat was perfect and I enjoyed my fellow crew members. All in all a fantastic experience and look forward to future sailing trips.

A big thank you for providing me with a holiday experience definitely not to be found in the mass market brochures, which was precisely what I was looking for and do believe the rest of our crew would agree judging by the fun we all had. The fantastic impromptu barbecues on many Caribbean islands with the locals and hot reggae sounds, rum punch and wonderful company interspersed by sailing daily being fanned by warm breezes and in my case by my captains tongue for I know nothing about sailing but enjoyed gentle tuition. So to sum it all up "I'll be back"
