Now that we've made our software completely free and unrestricted for all we can no longer afford to support legacy version of our software like DFX and FxSound Enhancer. Doing so would costs money to maintain the servers and the software itself. And we're not making enough with donations to be able to support these costs. These servers and software was built with developers that are no longer on the team. This makes it much harder for us to work with this code and maintain it.

I am testing on a Windows 11 laptop with Realtek Audio. When switching between built-in speaker and external speaker frequently, I see about 3MB increase in memory used by audiodg.exe, but it eventually comes down as audio playback continues.
Also, I am able to replicate the FxSound scenario that you have observed, and the memory used by audiodg.exe keeps increasing when switching the audio output device and it is not coming down.
I have identified the line of code where IAudioClient::Initialize is called and the memory increases. I am looking at the solution for this.

Sorry for the delay in my reply. I compared our code with a Microsoft sample code as reference and found out the interface which is not getting released in our application code.
After making the changes to release the interface, memory allocated in audiodg.exe does not keep adding up when changing the output device. This solution will work with the audio enhancements enabled for the device.
