Refund Information

Based on the information that has been posted thus far, those who are
seeking a refund will receive a letter from TwiCon very shortly. The
letter may or may not outline information on how to receive a
refund.

Based on the comments posted by the two former co-owners, it seems as
if some participants may get a partial refund, but that process would
be very timely, and there is no guarantee that it will happen.

It looks as if many participants are contacting their credit card
companies about reversing the charges.

Also, I would be interested to know where exactly the money went?  There are rumors that the previous TwiCon event made a $60,000 profit.  This was supposed to benefit an Autism charity, however there is a question whether or not this actually happened.  Where did the money made from that event go?  Where did all of the money participants have sent in thus far go? 

I found it interesting that the former co-owners can not answer this question.  Shouldn't a co-owner of a business be involved in the financial operations of said business?
