getting repeated tweets repeated tweets repeated tweets

I'm seeing repeated tweets in my pytwerp stream. I run pytwerp from
cron, no changes to the config lately.
Simple call
twerp -c ~/.twerprc_vlb -f

Something changed in Twitter?

As near as I can tell, Twitter is currently ignoring the "last
checked" date. PyTwerp is updating the date stamp in my .twerprc file;
I presume it's sending that info to Twitter. But I can run twerp three
times in a row and I get the same set of results every time;.
