Virtual Tradeshow this Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 23-24

I've spent the past several months putting together the program for
this week's Virtual Tradeshow on Security & Mobility, and I'm pretty
psyched about the lineup. We've got keynotes by Jim Buckmaster, the CEO
of craigslist, and by Mike Foley, the executive director of the
Bluetooth SIG. There are panel discussions with top execs from the
major security vendors, Microsoft product managers in charge of Vista,
execs from all the major laptop vendors, and more. There are
prerecorded video sessions starring PC Magazine editors like John C.
Dvorak (and yours truly).
There's a virtual "show floor" where you can download info from our
generous sponsors (whose dough makes all this possible) and chat with
vendor reps.
And did I mention the prizes? The giveaways include 4 BlackBerry 8700s,
two IBM ThinkPads, and a whole stack of security suites from Trend
Micro and McAfee.
It's all virtual and online, so all you need is a compatible browser.
And it's happening live, this week, Weds. and Thursday, although we'll
have archived versions of all the presentations up by the beginning of
next week.
