Hi Tom,
Unfortunately, that video does not cover how to change the batteries once the sensor is installed.
As mentioned above, I had to install the sensor inside the mailbox on the back, along with the antenna on the back, outside the mailbox. Given the length of my driveway, this was my only option.
When reaching inside the mailbox, only 1 arm will fit to reach all the way back to the sensor and it seems impossible to lift up both tabs on the sensor to change the batteries one-handed.
Someone else must have run into this situation before!

Replace your small mailbox1 with a new package-friendly mailbox big enough for all your mail, too. Get details on package mailbox sizes and proper installation, plus find retailers that sell USPS approved parcel mailboxes.

Property owners of single-family residential units (including duplexes and triplexes) are eligible to participate in the program. Tenants may also participate with written permission from their landlord (necessary as the mailbox will be owned by the property owner). Mailboxes are available on a first come first served basis and limited to one mailbox per addressed residence within the City of Lake Forest Park.

A mailbox will be reserved upon receipt of a complete application and payment. Once the city has received a significant number of applications, we will place a bulk order for mailboxes. Once we receive the mailboxes, you will be contacted to pick yours up.

I'm trying to figure out how I can attach a shared mailbox (0365) to the personal account settings. I have attempted other sign in options but non of these are doable as it requests a username and password.

Does anyone have this problem and or have a work around to this?

per default, Shared Inboxes don't have a password. The first step would be to reset/create a password for the inbox: -mailbox-can-have-a-password-and-login-enabled...

Also check out this thread, which might be helpful.

It's definitely possible to connect a shared inbox as an "Inbox" in HubSpot using this method. I'm not sure if it can be connected as a personal inbox in HubSpot, but it might work if you have a password.

Best regards
Colin

My understanding is you can connect an Office 365 shared mailbox to a personal Hubspot account with IMAP settings, however, this option doesn't seem to bve available for the team shared mailbox connection in Hubspot.

We get that, but that's why we'd like development to create an integration. There usually IS a username and password associated with the user who has privileges to the shared mailbox. Why can't those additional permissions be passed along to HubSpot to then select any of the user's shared mailboxes for inclusion?

You will need to allow the user to sign in as themselves, then you'll need to query the Office 365 user for what groups he/she is part of in the target O365 tenant, and provide a list of those. Then the user will pick one group, and you can grab that identity and set up a connection to it - and NOT connect with the authorizing users inbox.

Hi team,

Commenting for a customer here.

Understand that we should be able to create a new email address > and connect that as team email. but this is super unrealistic for large companies who have been using the group outlook 365 feature for a long time.

Are we able to look to implement this? thank you!

A well described problem that gets my upvote.

The workaround to this is to convert the exchange mailbox to type usermailbox using the 'convert to regular mailbox' now available in the O365 admin CP.

This obviously requires payment for a licence to be assigned or purchased for it despite there being no 'real' O365 user. If you are happy to 'throw money at the problem' it is a fix.

If you can temporarily assign a licence to it for the transformation and then get it (or keep it) under 50GB there are ways in which it should be possible to then reassign the licence to a real user while now having a connectable type of mailbox but obviously this is all time consuming and messy and will probably break the next time MS change it again. If trying to do this I suggest checking out -us/microsoft-365/admin/email/convert-user-mailbox-to-shared-mailbox?vi...

Integrations via API with exchange shared mailboxes are possible as we have one working in salesforce so it can be done.

This needs to happen yesterday. Microsoft is pushing groups and Salesforce can handle Office 365 group mailboxes, so why can't HubSpot? Even HubSpot employees (like @YiRui_Chua) can't seem to get a straight answer.

Throwing my vote in the ring for this. We have 4 to 6 groups that, when we partnered with HS, I anticipated linking to the CRM to manage tickets and service requests. Because they are groups I cannot link any of them and even the work around method is cumbersome and does not satisfy the requirements that would me met if these could be a Channel.

Throwing my vote in here as well. This indeed would be a large releif. Our group emails now has 20+ email rules as workarounds to hosted addresses with HubSpot and it's not scalable and is slow. Ideally tickets sent to an Exchange group "sup...@company.com" should be able to generate tickets/conversations within HubSpot and to enable this is the solution to all current & future Microsoft Office users since they're pushing the groups/shared inbox feature for their Office365.

due to the fact we have recently switched to office365 we would like to use a shared mailbox as our main support E-Mail for osTicket. Unfortunately osTicket does not suppor this (to my knowledge)

ramrajone it would cost us monthly if we had to create our own user for support in office365. Therefore I hope that someone has a detour (mod) for it since the shared mailbox authentication error resul due to the programming of osTicket.

ramrajone of course you're right i only had the price in mind that we pay for our users. It's about $4-5, despite all this it makes it almost impossible for office365 users to use osTicket for free anymore just because osTicket does not want to support shardes mailboxes.

ipf
Well, that's your viewpoint, but based on my own experience with open source projects like osTicket compare to other similar services, this one offers more features. osTicket is free so you can customize it the way it fits in your environment, but they can't control what other vendors service.

ramrajone I understand your point of view, too. I think it's just a pity that of all the projects I use only osTicket seems to intentionally not allow shared mailbox. But we could certainly keep exchanging our opinions here all day but this won't help me or any other osTicket user who wants to use shared mailbox.

What really irks me is what is not included for each user. We have E1 licenses, run AD locally and use Azure AD to sync it, and I cannot believe that you need to pay another @$3/mo per user to let them remotely change their gorram password.

ntozier Another option is to use the relatively inexpensive Exchange Online Plan 1 for the support mailboxes you need. Although I suppose that what is trying to be accomplished by the OP is that they want the support staffs name to appear alongside the email.

GiantTinyMidget Hi. We are using the same settings on our supportweb, except the user name of course :-), but get this error "TLS/SSL failure for outlook.office365.com: Unexpected TCP input disconnect". This came with the upgrade to 1.14.3, and it did work perfect before on osticket 1.12.x version. Have you struggled with this issue as well and solved it? Thansk for any answers that can help.
