Edit Posts in Google Groups

I've done a Google search and all results indicate that one cannot edit a Google Groups post. This is the only Google Group I have ever read or posted in either one. So, is this true?

I have uploaded a version of my game in another thread, and apparently, I can neither delete it (as should be my right), nor can I upload a newer version in its place.

That's just so far different than any other forum of any type that I've ever used that I find it very hard to believe.

This isn't a complaint at all. I do disagree with not allowing posts to be edited, but it's not a very big deal to me either way. However, not being able to delete content I uploaded from the post is highly annoying and I'll not be doing that again in the future. I'm just not sure that I'm correct that posts can't be edited.

I also find it very strange that there seems to be no way to preview posts before submitting them. Or, am I missing something there, too?

You're right on both counts--you can neither edit nor preview posts as far as I know. I think that they used to have the edit feature, but that might just be my memory acting up. 

It is one of my big complaints, but at least it gives me reason to proofread posts. XD
