Composer dates, please?

[Patrick Brinton]

Can anyone give me dates of birth and death for 2 composers, please? One
is an obscure Hungarian composer called Keler Bela, and the other is the
Spanish composer Joachin Rodrigo.
I am doing a concert program, and none of my reference works seem to help.

Bela Keler (best-known in the hyphenated form of the Hungarian order of
his name, i.e., Keler-Bela, acute accent on the second letter of each word),
lived from 13 Feb 1820 to 20 Nov 1882. He was born in Bartfeld (possibly
a Hungarian town that also had a German name) and died in Wiesbaden.

Joaquin Rodrigo was born in 1902 and was alive last I heard.

Keler-Bela 1820-82 Didn't know he was obscure <g> - conducted his "Lustspiel"
(lovely title) in a concert last November. The sort of tune everyone knows
but can never remember the title or composer of. Perhaps he is obscure
then. :-)

Don't know Rodrigo's dates.

Yes, I can!! I used to play it in a brass band 45 years ago, and
I arranged it for recorder band recently. Some of it worked well
(we a had a very good sopranino player to do the echo bits) but
the lower recorders had too little impact for the bass tune.
