Mitsuko Uchida--Mozart's Sonatas

I got the Miss. Uchida Complete Mozart Sonatas from Philips
(The famous Complete Mozart Edition--THe Vol,17)
Now, I got a question.....

Why does her performance sound dull, un-open, non-dynamic,
not-sweet sounding?
What kind of piano that she was using for this recording?
For me, it doesn't sound like the Stainway, but some cheap
piano. Listening to this set is really painful....

Maybe due to the recrding or hall-effect?
