hi, guys!

who could please explan me what the exact meaning of excentric/eccentric? is it possitive or negative word?

one of my best german friends has described me that i'm sometimes a bit excentric. is it good sound for me?

The meaning that applies to people can be "adj*

1. Departing from a recognized, conventional, or established norm or
pattern. See synonyms at strange.

or *noun*

1. One that deviates markedly from an established norm, especially a
person of odd or unconventional behavior.

Whether this is "good" or not depends on if you like being thought of as
"following" (doing what others do) or "leading" (doing what you like to do).

(The following geometric definition does not apply to people):
2. Deviating from a circular form or path, as in an elliptical orbit.

1. Not situated at or in the geometric center.
2. Having the axis located elsewhere than at the geometric center.
