I received a letter from Department Chair of CS Dept, UMCP, stating that
the Department Graduate Admissions Committee has forwarded a recommendation
to the University Graduate School to admit me to the Graduate Program, and
that the Graduate School will send me a formal offer of admission "very
soon". What is the chance of I being admitted?

It is also mentioned that the offer of admission will be kept open until
April 4, but I have not received the "formal offer of admission" from the
Graduate School yet. What should I do? Write them a letter indicating my
acceptance? Is email okay? Or should I phone them? To whom should I
contact?

Would anyone kind enough to enlighten me, and lift me out of this worrisome
state?

Call them, e-mail, fax, tell who ever is on the other side of the line
what your situation is, ask them to connect you to someone who knows
what's going on, ask them when the offical letter will be send out to
you, ask them.

因為上次有聽說有人收到該校的住宿表才知道自己被錄取了, 打電話問
office of admissions 才發現他們說早就寄了...不知有沒有真的寄還是寄丟了咧
還說他沒有在deadline之前回給學校要不要去..就被cancel 他的admissions了說..
要注意喔!~~聽說UMCP 的效率不怎麼好..
最好還是企問學校比較好.,.

友是在幾月的時候接到住宿表的?

看樣子我得加緊 E-mail 去問我的 application status 了.
